How do I check voice mail?
Posted by Doug Browne (Import) on 11 June 2008 11:45 PM

There are several ways to check your campus voice mail.

  • From your office phone
    • Press on the envelope button.
    • You are asked for your password followed by #, this is the password you setup when you setup the VM.
      • If you enter the password incorrectly, the system will then ask for your userID, which is your extension number, and press #.
      • Then enter your password and press #.
    • Now follow the prompts to check VM, or change greetings.
  • From e-mail
    • Generally all VM's are stored in your e-mail and can be played back for the web mail or from your office Outlook, but sometimes while off campus they do not playback correctly on other computers.  You may follow some of the other possible ways of getting your VM's, below.
  • From another extension or off campus.
    • Dial your phone number or extension
    • During the greeting press *, this will cancel your greeting and allow you to access your VM.
    • Enter your userID, which is your extension number, and press #.
    • Then enter your password and press #.
    • Now follow the prompts to check VM, or change greetings.
  • Need to access your VM but someone normally answers your phone.
    • You may also access any VM mail box, by dialing 620-417-2000.
    • Enter your userID, which is your extension number, and press #.
    • Then enter your password and press #.
    • Now follow the prompts to check VM, or change greetings.
